EuroSkills 2025 - passion meets precision
Impressions from the most important craft competition in Europe.
Professional groups from 33 countries united with one goal: excellence. Every Handle counts, every second counts - regardless of the professional group. The experts observe with a trained eye and assess with precision. Trainers and family members join in the excitement - full of pride, hope and enthusiasm. For three days during EuroSkills 2025, the Danish town of Herning became a place where dreams were forged, boundaries were pushed and talent was celebrated.
When the doors of the competition halls in Herning, Denmark open at EuroSkills, you are immediately immersed in a different world: Adrenalin is in the air, the faces of the competitors show the utmost concentration. This is accompanied by the rhythmic whirring of the machines and the smell of wood and sawdust. Craftsmanship and talent are condensed into just a few metres, in which the participants work in the sweat of their brow to complete highly demanding projects within a given time frame. All they have at their side are their power tools. Indispensable helpers on the way to the winner's podium.
Adrenalin, goosebumps and pure excitement
"I've never felt so much tension in the air", one visitor told us, while the German carpenter Linus Großhardt, completely relaxed, inspected his work with his trainer 20 minutes before the final bell, pure adrenalin prevailed in the final minutes of the other carpentry, construction and cabinetmaking competitions. You could literally feel the pulse of the feverishly working participants.
The visit of the Danish king, who greeted some of the participants and spoke at length with the Danish carpenter Lukas Sørensen, was also moving - a moment of appreciation that also impressively emphasised the importance of the craft. And then the closing ceremony: tears, cheers, hugs - moments that got under the skin.

Premium power tools for the future of the trade
For quality, for craftsmanship, for the future: Festool was a proud premium sponsor in five professional groups. The more than 103,000 visitors, the 600 participants from 33 countries and the 38 professional groups - all this showed: Craftsmanship is boundless, lively and full of perspectives. We are proud to have been a part of this impressive competition with all its young talent and are already looking forward to the next EuroSkills 2027 in Düsseldorf and Luxembourg. Once again, it was a matter close to our hearts to promote young talent and contribute to the future of the skilled trades with our tools.
