The right dust class

Which dust class for which material?

Not every dust extractor is suitable for every type of dust. The dusts produced during your work are categorised into three dust classes:

  • Dust class L: slightly hazardous dusts such as house dust, soil or lime
  • Dust class M: harmful dusts such as wood dust, Scraper, filler or concrete
  • Dust class H: particularly hazardous and carcinogenic dusts such as mould spores, asbestos and mineral fibres
