Setting the suction power

Your PLANEX long-reach sander can apply suction against the surface. This allows you to work on ceilings and walls without fatigue. You can set the strength of the suction power on the controller on the sanding head easily and without increments.

  • Switching on the PLANEX

    Switch on the PLANEX long-reach sander and only then place it on the sanding surface.

  • Increasing suction power

    Start with low suction power and increase it until you can guide the machine over the wall or ceiling with ease.

    If the suction power is set too high, this can affect how easily the machine can be guided and lead to increased wear on the abrasive.

  • Reducing suction power

    If the speed gets slower during your work, reduce the suction power and move the controller towards the 'wall' symbol.

Note on suction power
Watch out for the surface quality. Suction power that is set too high removes a lot of material and can overload the machine.
